Washington, DC – December 24, 2010 – Happy Holidays and Year-End Message from Mei & Mark LLP
Dear Clients, Friends, and Colleagues:
On behalf of Mei & Mark LLP, the leading minority-owned Intellectual Property and Litigation law firm based in Washington, DC, I wish you and your family a joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year!
Thanks to your support, our firm continues to grow and flourish in 2010. We proudly share with you some of our accomplishments in 2010:
Litigation Highlights: Our attorneys argued and won two appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Our representation in several high profile cases before the International Trade Commission and in federal district courts has been covered by U.S. and international media.
Patent Prosecution: In addition to drafting and filing many patent applications for large and small clients, we prepared more than 15 patent reexamination requests in 2010.
Pro Bono/Community Service: We continue to handle various pro bono matters, including an asylum proceeding before an immigration court. We also co-sponsored the 2010 APABA-DC Installation Dinner and the 2010 AIPLA Annual Meeting.
Diversity: We continue to attract talents from large firms and have grown from 4 attorneys to 8 attorneys and 2 patent agents, including 5 Asian Americans, 2 African Americans, 2 Caucasian Americans, and 1 Hispanic/Latino American.
We look forward to working with you in 2011. May the New Year bring you happiness and prosperity!
